The Buenos Aires subway transports nearly a million people daily. Therefore, if you are one of those looking for love hotels near the subway, this means of transport is your best ally to avoid taxis, dodge traffic, and not expose yourself more than necessary on the street.

Furthermore, having a registered love hotel near the subway is by no means a caprice; on the contrary, it is smart and practical, since when you exit the station you won't have to walk fifteen blocks, much less wander around aimlessly. Practically, you step off the train, open the door to the room, and the rest doesn't matter.

The Dallas is the classic love hotel that is practical, well-located, and quite adequate. Its biggest strength is precisely its location. You get off the subway, walk a couple of blocks down Ecuador Street, and you're there. 

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and a private bathroom. Even though it has a traditional feel, you’ll find themed rooms here—and even some with a jacuzzi. Without a doubt, it’s a reliable option for a midweek getaway that won’t let you down.

Line B: northbound access from downtown

Line B runs from Leandro N. Alem Avenue to Villa Urquiza Avenue. Because it runs along Balvanera Avenue, you'll find yourself in an area with a wide selection of temporary shelters.

Hotel Madison

• Address: Perón 3015, Balvanera.
• Actual distance: It is located about 4 blocks from the Pueyrredón station (Line B) and also very close to the Corrientes station (Line H).
• Schedules The front desk is open 24 hours a day.
• Prices: Starting at about $25,000 per shift.

The Madison is the true neighborhood classic. Located on Perón Street, right in the commercial area of Balvanera, the roar of traffic is part of the ambiance, but that doesn't take away from how reliable it is. 

Here you won't find whirlpool tubs or extravagant decoration, but the rooms are spacious, with beds queen and bathrooms in optimal conditions. So without a doubt, it is the right one to resolve things quickly, without the pretensions of a hotel boutique.

Line C: the terminal connector

It is one of the shortest lines on the map, but it has great strategic value because it connects directly with the Retiro and Constitución railway terminals. So whether you are just passing through or are one of those who use the train, knowing this station will put some good hourly hotels close at hand.

Origen Hotel Motel

• Address: 1719 Pavón Avenue, Constitución.
• Distance: It is located 4 blocks from the Entre Ríos station (line E) and about 9 blocks from the Constitución station (line C).
• Schedules Overnight stays are from 01:00 on Fridays, while on Saturdays and Sundays it is from 02:00.
• Prices: From $26,500 (Standard) to $42,400 (Cinema Suite).

Hotel Origen is one of the few that understand that not everyone goes with the same plan. This space offers you six room categories, ranging from the basic with a bed queen including its famous Cinema Suite, which, for $42,400, includes a movie projector, themed decor, a double whirlpool tub, a private garage, and a minibar. 

Additionally, they serve continental breakfast between 07:00 and 11:00. Although the area is not very pleasant at night, going for the suite is worth the effort.

Line D: the north-south axis crossing Palermo

Line D is the one that connects the downtown area (Cathedral) with Núñez (Congreso de Tucumán), passing through the most upscale neighborhoods like Recoleta, Palermo, and Belgrano. It is the preferred line for those looking for hourly hotels, as the offering is prolific.

Hotel Eclypse 

• Address: Jufré 433, Villa Crespo.
• Actual distance: It is located about 6 blocks from the Malabia station (on Line B).
• Schedules It offers 3-hour shifts from Sunday to Friday. Overnight stays during the week start from 06:00 to 13:00, and on Saturdays from 07:00.
• Prices: Prices range from $40,000 (the basic room) to $55,000 (the suite with a whirlpool).

The Eclypse has so much vibe that the four categories of its suites are named after planets, thus marking its level of thematic design. The most affordable rooms come with the essentials to hang out without any issues, such as air conditioning, a TV, and a minibar. 

But if you want to take it a step further, the suite with a whirlpool tub, Scottish shower, and lounge chair is the perfect fit for you. Plus, they offer a fully stocked bar and private parking. Although this option is a bit more expensive than average, it’s still ideal if you need a special place to take your date to the next level.

Line E: The South Connected

Line E starts from Retiro and goes to Plaza de los Virreyes, crossing through several neighborhoods in the center and south of the city, where hourly accommodation options are currently growing.

Hotel Plus

• Address: 1484 Independencia Ave, San Cristóbal.
• Actual distance: You will find it just 3 blocks from the San José station (Line E).
• Schedules They have 2 and 3-hour shifts every day. Overnight stays from Sunday to Thursday start at 23:00, on Fridays from 02:30, and on Saturdays from 04:30.
• Prices: Prices range from $28,000 (for the basic suite) to $55,000 (for the Imperial suite).

At the Plus hotel they are clear that not all outings require the same level of preparation, which is why they offer six different categories. A good option is to start with the basic suite, which already comes with a hydromassage tub, or go to the other extreme with the Imperial suite, which is a duplex with two bathrooms and two televisions. 

There are also the executive rooms, which are quite spacious, and as you go up in category, premium details appear, such as 55-inch curved screens and top-tier audio. The overall design is modern and without excessive decoration. 

Line H: the modern east-west connector

Line H is one of the newest additions to the network. It links the Parque Patricios area (Hospitales station) with the Recoleta neighborhood right at the “Facultad de Derecho” station, successfully crossing the city from south to north and connecting with almost all the other lines.

Hotel FATSA

• Address: Deán Funes 1251, San Cristóbal.
• Actual distance: It is located 3 blocks from the Humberto 1.° station (Line H) and the Jujuy station (Line E).
• Schedules 24-hour front desk.
• Prices: You must check directly with the hotel.

Here we need to make a special alto note, since the FATSA is a hotel owned by the Argentine Health Workers' Association (ATSA). This means it is a union-run facility designed for social tourism, member vacations, or therapeutic stays. 

If you come asking for hourly rates, they're going to look at you funny; however, we left it on the list because the location is fantastic and the reviews highlight that the cleanliness is A-1 and that they also serve a full breakfast; but keep in mind that this hotel is better for booking a room and spending the whole night if you're traveling.

How to get to each one?

• Dallas Hotel (Line A – Once): Get off at Plaza Miserere station and head towards Ecuador Street, keep walking for two blocks until you cross Perón Street.
• Madison Hotel (Line B – Balvanera): Get off at Pueyrredón station, walk two blocks down Pueyrredón Avenue to Perón Street, turn, and walk half a block more.
• Origen Hotel (Line E – San Cristóbal/Constitución): Get off at Entre Ríos station (Line E) and walk about 4 blocks. (Discard the option of going to Line C at Constitution because you will walk at least 10 extra blocks.).
• Hotel Eclypse (Line B – Villa Crespo): Get off at Malabia Station on Line B and walk about 6 blocks.
• Hotel Plus (Line E – San Cristóbal): Get off at San José station, walk about two blocks down San José street to Independencia avenue, and when you turn, you'll see it.
